Summary: Manages sales activities of organization by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Prepare and submit a sales quotation to customer, which includes thermal design, costing and specification review and clarifications
Communicate and research customer needs to develop competitive and applicable offering
Negotiate with customer to obtain order while focusing on company profitability and ability to fabricate within quotation constraints
Assign quotations and provide multipliers to the Sales Department
Exhibit a detailed level understanding of Terms and Conditions and large project negotiations.
Document sales activity of assigned proposals within Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software
Comply with requirements of Tender Review and Approval Process as required.
Attend design verification meetings, if required, to successfully transition order management to Projects
Maintaining up-to-date awareness of industry trends, government regulations and shop capabilities
Source and negotiate pricing and delivery from sub-suppliers during quotation stage
Participate in sales forecasting and planning
Develop and maintain communications in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers
Maintaining a working knowledge of company products and services
Regular attendance, ability to arrive at work punctually, ability to work on–site.
Ability to work cooperatively with others, ability to deal respectfully with the public, customers, vendors, other employees, managers, and executive management.
Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ability to interchange with others in the department.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position serves as an educated reference point for the Sales department with regards to the commercial portion of proposals. Additionally this position is responsible for assigning quotations when the President and V.P. of Sales are out of office.

COMPUTER SKILLS Personal computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. as contained in the Microsoft Office suite of products running on Microsoft operating platform
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering field from four-year college or university.
